This reminds me of about half the torrents in Demonoid's audio book section. The sheer amount of woo being shat into the world along with the number of people who want to consume it is incredibly depressing.

I also just read that a Pew Research survey showed over 40% of Americans are basically Young Earth creationists.

I'm thinking we may have reached the limits of our potential as a species. Not that humans COULDN'T do better, but the masses of them that refuse to let go of fairy tales won't let the rest progress.

If that is the case, then we will only go extinct because we refused to eat them, not because they refused to stop believing in crap.

We can't eat them. Cave Johnson said Soylent Green cost as much as lobster, so the cafeteria switched back to fish sticks. :(
