That's a whole lotta drug overdoses suicides. Jesus.
drug overdoses *and* suicides.
Hooray for typos.

"Oh, a memorial to dead porn stars. I'm sure the YouTube comments will be thoroughly horrible."
As usual you do not disappoint me ye olde abyss of ignorance!
|dairyqueenlatifah - 2012-06-09 |
Sad. So many of them are suicides.
I'm sure the YouTube comments on this are full of precious comments like it being the wrath of god, they deserved it, and jews did it.
Porn is just like its creator, the devil, deceptive, leave it alone if your struggling with it, Jesus can help

You can only go so far into deep sin before God will turn his back on you. Given over to a depraved mind, doomed to hell, living in despair, they dont last very long.
Repent and turn to Jesus, he will wash away all sin.

for crying out loud, they were pornstars. They were already dead inside.

Nothing sad about it. They deserve to be treated like shit.

I wonder what they will tell God, this is so SAD

Apparently the shame caused by the sin of porn acting leads to drug and alcohol overdoses.
The more you know.
Why do porn stars get so much hate for doing something that most people enjoy watching? Is the Madonna-whore complex responsible? Or is it old fashioned Christian values?

The ending was unexpected

Bambi Woods died of a drug overdose? I read somewhere that she simply disappeared and no one actually knows if she's alive or dead.

Look, I can't believe I know enough about this sort of thing, but some of this is BS. Anna Malle died in a plain old car wreck after she had retired. A couple of these deaths turned out to be rumors.
Not that porn can't be soul-draining and life-destroying, mind you, but these guys need a fact checker.
Awesome synergy between the above post & the user name.

Something tells me that you'll find way more regular actors doing this over the last 30 years alone. Any job that brings in fame, money, and fast living is dangerous.
Is there going to be a cross organization for superbike racing? How about the Iron Cross for iron workers? Or an Anthracite Cross for coal miners?
sofar this year more US soldiers have commited suicide than have been killed in Afghanistan. They will not be getting a memorial.

Absolutely positive I saw this here a few years ago.
It's for sure a dupe, because I remember commenting on the death of one of these women being a weird snuff film thing (which is a true story).
Never mind, didn't see Pillager's link.

I've been fapping to dead porn stars.
|Quad9Damage - 2012-06-10 |
Okay, so this video was put out by an evangelical anti-porn organization founded by an ex-porn star.
Apparently God sees your porn acting career and makes your car crash.

How much masturbating does a man have to do to kill a porn star?
I want numbers.

The lady on the front page thumbnail clearly saw the Ring, and that hardly counts.

I think some of these might be stage names.

I submitted "The Death of a Porn Queen" documentary that's currently in the hopper. If you watch this thing closely, you'll start to get a more complex picture of this one tragedy than the conventional wisdom allows. Everybody in Colleen Applegate's life failed her. A teenage girl working for the phone company attempts suicide by swallowing a bottle of pills. Her incredibly reserved and emotionally distant parents decide that she's "looking for attention"... and so they ignore her. The suicide attempt becomes well-known in her little hometown in Minnesota, and the gossip and notoriety forces her out of town to LA.
The porno industry is not a safe place for a vulnerable young girl who suffers from episodes of depression, but neither was Farmington, Minnesota-- and I think the people who judged and ostracized Colleen, and made it impossible for her to come home, are every bit as responsible as the porno industry for her suicide. Of course, the primary responsibility goes to Colleen herself.
I'd love to have sex on camera for money and I'm not depressed. Good thing I don't work for "the phone company."

I just watched this video again after several months. Christians still aren't leaving their stupid comments in their pockets. The YouTube comments demonstrate a failure to understand the difference between correlation and causation.
All you have to do to persuade devouts is to create a montage and throw "Van Nuys" over it and Christians everywhere suddenly have an epiphany that it's all porn's fault or God's punishment. Some of these people died of cancer or in car accidents, or, you know, might not actually be dead but who cares about that!? THIS IS SAD, THIS IS SIN AND YOU MUST CRY, LOVING CHRISTIANS!
