4 stars just because he seems like a cool guy and because how ludicrous it is that this would deserve a whole news segment focused on "WOW, A DARKIE, IN JAPAN!?!".

American Standard The Japanese save most of their pathological malice for Koreans. The racism they express against black people is different, more like something you'd see out of a white 6-year-old from Vermont who just saw his first black man. It's more like they don't know any better than they actively hate.
They understand it's a touchy subject, but their history isn't sloshing at the brim with black-vs-white subtext tainting every interaction like ours is.
