Blue Actually I don't really think Skrillex counts as Dubstep. A pretty good example of what I'd consider dubstep would be Datsik - Retreat. Check it out on Youtube and skip to about 55 seconds in. That's dubstep.
I don't think it counts as Dubstep if it's immediately identifiable as music.
SteamPoweredKleenex I seem to recall dubstep being described as the noise of a blender chewing on a fork attempting to have sex with a fax machine.
