The aum cult that did the sarin gast attack on the subways were suppose to be trying to kill the leader of this other sect.

If anyone can give a tl:dw version of this, i went to read some stuff about this cult and it seems to be a mix of several eastern religions in a "light" version.

One of my childhood best pals is married to a survivor of Aum, who was not a member but simply the child of one. They had a child and he seems happy. He was in Japan when 9/11 happened. The couple tried to bring their child to America about four years ago to visit his family, and she was not allowed entry to the country due to Homeland Security putting her on the terrorist watch list, by simple association with a known terrorist group (Aum apparently had her on a membership list despite being a child at the time.) He's simply decided it was fate and has never returned to the US since. He teaches English at the school run by the Pokemon Corporation, for the children of their employees.

The animation looks nice enough, but man... those voices. I can't get through this. Someone call me when there's a non-dubbed version.

I'd really recommend watching this. It starts of slow but then gets wilder and wilder. It's got everything, reptoids, dimensions, reincarnations, evil thetans, lost continents, dinosaurs...
