I remember the Book of Vile Darkness. This might me one of those rare cases where the movie is much better off not being faithful to the source material.

I want a Tomb Of Horrors movie where they stay true to the Game rather than the book that was written afterward, and it's just generation after generation of Heroes going into the Tomb and getting killed in horribly nasty ways, each hearing tales from the previous generations so they get a little further in before getting killed.
And it would end with a hero just getting frustrated and going "No, damn it Jerry I've been trying for three months and I can't get any further. I'm not playing this stupid campaign anymore." and walking away.
