Well, now I don't believe in nothing no more!
Take away his accent and prop him up in front of a Toyota dealership and Sean Locke IS my father.
I'm curious to see if this has any effect on his career. I could see him losing his spot on 10 O'Clock Live, since he took pot shots at corporations who paid zero taxes.
This episode would go well with the ep of Have I Got News For You when former host Angus Deayton was caught in a scandal involving cocaine and prostitutes. He twisted in the wind for half a season on that show before he was forced out.

Interesting how "scandals" work. Imho tax evasion is a serious breach of social responsibility. I dont see the inherent problem with indulging in a bit of bolivian marching powder and some ladies of negotiable affection. Obviously there may be bad knock-on effects, but tax evasion is big solid FUCK YOU to those less well-off and society in general, whereas drugs and prozzies may spread the wealth to the lower strata and stimulate the economy a bit. Of course if you live in a country where they are under prohibition then you will also be stimulating the underworld economy.

God.. the youtube comments.... D:
Great, the Libertards are going to make him a hero.
I guess they'll fall away when they realize his humor (currently) won't pander to their distorted worldview and that he at least seems to be sorry he avoided paying taxes.
If you're a fan of Jimmy, then this video is great for seeing him on the receiving end of 15 minutes of shit.
What Jimmy Carr did was wrong, but fuck this dogpile bullshit that's going on. Like none of these celebrities hasn't tried to figure out ways to dodge the taxes in the UK, not to mention what Carr got away with (or isn't, now) is a drop in the fucking bucket compared to what the one-percenters are getting away with there.
Very true. But unlike the one percenters, Carr is more of a household name and can be held up as an example for public scorn and ridicule while those whose taxes should be much, much higher remain obscured from public awareness.
