They dont expect anyone to remember anyway, the memory and attention span of the average american is only a few seconds. I mean, look what major news networks get away with every day.

The writing is actually pretty solid, especially for a video game. The dude is slowly developing out of externalizing his terrible decisions at the cost of...fuck it. Anything I could go on about would be mentally countered with "lol videogames" by anybody who is so against what they see in this out of context.

It's a solidly fun game that turns the gungho jingoistic paradigm squarely on its head while doing a good job of pointing out how irrational and horrible war and people are. If you're playing the yearly installations of ShinyVision AdrenalineShooter, you at least owe this a look.
