I watched it all the way through and my brain had to keep reminding me that this wasn't a comedic satire.

After having to stop multiple time and force my self to continue I have to say..WTF.
So he loses his job, loses an opportunity to really make something of himself, but he finally has his girl! A girl mind you, that just hours before decided to be 'ok' with the whole furry thing and could very well be using him as a rebound.
