SteamPoweredKleenex On the one hand, yay for practical special effects. Cheesy they may be, but CGI is seldom as creepy-looking.
On the other, I keep forgetting how the 80's had no sense of tight editing for a lot of shots, and I think just about every movie had a synth-and-drum-machine soundtrack. It might have been a law or something.
