Nevermind that plain ol' hip-hop and rap have had references to nerdy shit like comic books and kung-fu movies in them for decades, we need to make our own subgenre to differentiate us from all those "ghetto" "urban" "thugs"
A "friend" of mine played some MC Chris once. It was so viscerally repulsive, musically and vocally, that I could not contain my palpable discomfort. Now that I've seen this man and heard him talk, I could not feel any more justified in my loathing.
here's how you deal with that conundrum. Shut up. Watch archer. Realize that the nails on chalkboard voice could actually go to ex members of arrested development, or proper voice actors.
On one hand, he kicked some dorkus malorkus out of his show in Philly for tweeting that his friend/opening act sucked and I find that hilarious. On the other hand, why is MC Chris still a thing?
