(I've never had food go UP that way before) I saw it as a kid, and he was saying "chew. chew. chew. SWALLOW." and i remember thinking "hmm i wouldn't be able to swallow an apple piece after 3 chews... that seems rude"
gravelstudios Even though I loved science, I was terrified of Mr. Wizard as a child. I was all about Dr. Fad. I would've done anything to get on Dr. Fad's show.

Screwtape Awesome, but they forgot the best one. Its my personal most memorable episode where he was teaching a kid about water displacement and forced him to get into a barrel of cold water and submerge himself over and over. The kid complained about the freezing water the entire time.
The best part: the whole premise was to measure his volume, but in the end Mr Wizard just used an unscientific bucket to collect the water and declared that the kid's volume was "8 and a half buckets!". So pointless that even as a kid I thought, jesus he did that just to water torture the kid.
Old_Zircon I remember that one! Didn't they use clips from it for a lot of the Mr. Wizard bumpers on Nickelodeon?
