StanleyPain There were actually about 6 or so of these films featuring the same bushman from Gods Must Be Crazy, but all of them after part 2 were made by other filmmakers and mostly in China. Gods Must Be Crazy 3 is interesting in that it was made by some notable Hong Kong talent. (it stars Lam Ching Ying who was mostly famous for being in the Mr. Vampire films, so of course there's a vampire in this movie, Stephen Chow co-wrote some of it, and it was primarily written and produced by Barry Wong who was responsible for a whole slew of awesome Hong Kong movies)
Old_Zircon Crazy Safari is the actual title, and to this day it's only available on VCD (unless things changed in the last 6 months or so). I lost the second disc of mine, sadly.
I've been a fan of this movie for about a decade but I never knew there was a Stephen Chow connection! I found out about it through the Lam Ching Ying/hopping vampires angle.
Jet Bin Fever A Chinese girl tried to explain to me once why those Chinese hopping vampires were way scarier than ours.
memedumpster She's obviously never heard our vampire poetry about eternal sorrow and unrequited love.
Old_Zircon She should have just showed you Vampire vs. Vampire, that's what that movie's all about.
dead_cat Chinese hopping vampires and African bushmen, together at last.
