Why do we still trip over ourselves to talk respectfully to these morons?
|
dead_cat - 2012-07-23 Because they have delicate feelings.

i know a lot has been said already about the ghastly james carville and his cadaverous appearance but fuck man i keep trying to focus on the audio of this only to literally recoil every time he is shown. it's so jarring, like a dracula killed some kid from the early 80's and stole his outfit and is sitting right there and no one seems to notice! look out neil!

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-07-22 I'd say that was a Chris Chan reject. Chris seems to go for the same shirts as Sesame Street's Ernie. The one James has on is from "That 70's Show," I think.

|
Colonel Cowlung - 2012-07-23 I watched The War Room recently, and Carville was wearing the same shirt during Clinton's run for President.
There was some terrible fashion on display in that documentary.

Lutz drove GM into the ground, so we should certainly listen to him about climate change.
Real Time is just about the worst show.
|
Xenocide - 2012-07-22 To be fair, Real Time isn't the only show that engages in the idiotic "we're obligated to give equal time to the people who think the world is flat" fallacy.
I would love to see just one cable news show have the balls to start the show with a statement like the following:
"For tonight's show we were going to have a climate debate. So we decided to get a reputable scientist who believes in climate change, and here he is. Then we decided to get a reputable scientist who doesn't believe in climate change, but we couldn't find one. Anywhere. Just kooks, shills, and idiots with mail order degrees. Now, we could have filled the gap with some random oil company spokesman, a former GM executive, or my dog, any of which would be equally qualified to speak on the subject. But we're not going to insult your intelligence like that. So my guests tonight are Niel DeGrasse Tyson and this empty chair.
"As you can see, it's a very nice chair. It even spins!"
|
Blue - 2012-07-22 Were you even watching that debate? Tyson was completely stumped by that chair!

Modern Angel - 2012-07-23 haha yes, more people need to be like jon "can't we all just get along america is a road with a tunnel" stewart.

Pompoulus - 2012-07-22
This is a man of peace. He clearly didn't want to fight but there's a bandit in the road.

urbanelf - 2012-07-22
Oh. A bet with nothing on the line. My favorite kind.
|
themilkshark - 2012-07-23 4:09 into the video Tyson proposes that Lutz and all the global warming deniers should invest in companies that would profit from no real climate change, to put their money where their mouth is. If climate change is real, which most scientists have agreed is, they'll all go broke.
|
Toenails - 2012-07-23
Really though. This isn't funny.
|
Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-07-23
Lutz should be a curse word synonymous with dog shit.
|
Riskbreaker - 2012-07-23
Exactly what does the conservative right wing movement gains from all these global warming denying?

spikestoyiu - 2012-07-23 They don't want to admit that hippies were right about something.
|
jangbones - 2012-07-23 All large corporations will suffer if held accountable for their contributions to global warming.
Its all about money.
|
|
Riskbreaker - 2012-07-28 I'm sure every conservative is promised a monkey butler if they support this bs.
