In 1980, when I was 22, my girlfriend and I watched this on WVIA, Scranton, which at the time was one of the best public TV stations anywhere. It showed Dr. Who episodes all the way back in the early to mid 70s when NO ONE had heard of the doctor stateside. We thought it was the best B movie we'd ever seen, a brilliant satire on race and class in America. Of course, we were high off our asses.
I submitted this right away. I still haven't had a chance to watch it, so that's all I can tell you.

If you watch only one scene (though you should watch the whole thing) watch the dirt bike scene starting at 1 hour in.

A significant film, if only because without it there would never have been an Incredible Bongo Band, and the world of music would never have been graced with "Apache."
A lot of historical weight rests on Ray Milland/Rosy Grier's abnormally broad shoulders.
