Millard An amazing comment from Penders, last year:
"THE LOST ONES is very much in development. I currently have several CGI artists busy working on several special visual effects and 3D models from my designs. My Costume Designer is currently at work on more outfits for our upcoming shoot and I'm busy rewriting the script. A project such as this doesn't happen overnight for a lot of reasons. The two major ones are money (getting the financing) and creative development. Chris Nolan spent 10 years working on INCEPTION. James Cameron spent 14 years working on AVATAR. I started working on this after I got back home from the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con. The only reason there is a Facebook page at this time is because the actors urged me to use it to promote the project, whereas I was extremely hesitant to do so because I wanted to wait until we really had something special to show people. We're getting there, but still not ready for prime time. Look at the current uproar over the new TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN pics getting released, or when the first WOLVERINE movie was leaked online. The fear is that the early leaks of material that isn't polished will kill interest in seeing the finished work. That's a major concern on my part, even though everyone else involved wishes I released more. Hopefully, I'll feel comfortable enough to release something very soon."
Good lord.

TeenerTot All I could see here was Overdrawn at the Memory Bank.

Old_Zircon Looks a hell of a lot more entertaining than that new Batman movie.

SteamPoweredKleenex Ah, it took me a moment to realize why all the screen names on YT had "Sonic" in them or were somehow related.
It would seem ol' Ken, in addition to comparing himself to Cameron and Nolan, has somehow angered the fans of a fast blue hedgehog. I expect Chris-Chan to have a reply video, if not show up at Ken's house in a black bathrobe with a pair of plastic ninja swords, resulting in a revenge fantasy that goes horribly wrong, with both combatants winding up on some kind of FBI watch list.

Caminante Nocturno Now I remember where I've heard that name before. He was the guy who had Princess Sally killed in the Sonic comics. Sonic fans were furious with him for that.
BUT THAT WAS OVER TEN YEARS AGO!!!
TEN YEARS!!!

Xenagama Warrior Princess To be fair, some were furious to the point of threatening the new writer -Ian Flynn - should fornicate with a rusty sharp object when he trolled the fanbase and made everyone believe that she was killed. And this was last year.
Fun times. I'll be laughing in the corner just remembering it.

Seven Arts/H8 Red I think people are now amused by Penders' wanting to assume ownership on characters and concepts he created for the Sonic comics. He figures Sega, EA and BioWare stole concepts from his Knuckles the Echidna run, for Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. There's also the issue of royalties from reprints and collections.
While I get why he wants money from works he wrote, big deal. He did work-for-hire. At a certain point, he has to realize his Knuckles knockoffs and Star Wars/Star Trek injokes don't have a long shelf life, much less this film version of a one-shot comic he did for Image in 2000.

Rudy He really needs to close all his other applications when filming. It's affecting his framerate.
