What always struck me about this movie is the odd little side bits, like the "you're my favorite customer/hey doggie" moment or the "guys standing around tossing a football in the alley while three feet away from each other" moment, like bits of what some moonman pretending to be a human would think of as everyday minutae, added to the movie in hopes of making it seem more naturalistic. THIS IS WHAT WE HUMANS DO, RIGHT?

What has always bugged me about the florist scene is that it sounded as if they took dialogue elements and just reshuffled the order. Baffling...the whole movie really.

Yeah. And I know of at least one person who got suspended for it. In his defense, he posted it before he watched the whole thing, and when he apologized to support, he was reinstated. But he's not bitter, oh no, not him. He learned not to care about that sort of thing.
