Let me break it down for you:

1. This is POETV. Links generally go to VIDEOS, not NEWS COPY with videos embedded in them.

2. Wow, there IS a video in that big ol' wall of text, and it's the size of a postage stamp! But down at the bottom of that page is what you SHOULD have linked do, the YOUTUBE URL.

3. If it still doesn't make sense to you, I can only assume you're enjoying the lovely weather in Tampa for the GOP convention.

I was also wondering why there wasn't just a direct link to the parody. The news story is fine for context, but one thing I've learned about POETV is that context is generally not a necessity.

*sigh* in the many years I've been coming here, it's been standard practice to submit sites if the video on those sites isn't embedable. it's the news video that I'm posting. If you like the original parody, that's cool, post that yourself.

It's not that big a deal. Now that POE has no forums, I think we should ease up on giving a shit about this sort of thing.

Yeah, we want to know what the weather was like in Washington DC two weeks ago. We don't need to wade through four minutes of some weatherman making an ass of himself on live television.
