seems damn familiar; if it is here it is poorly tagged, but if it isn't here it should be.

I never really noticed before how much Yahtzee lifted his style from Charlie Brooker.
I'm also amazed that anyone, much less Charlie Brooker, ever thought 9.12 project Glenn Beck was real on any level other than hucksterism, because Glenn Beck's acting is quite possibly the worst I've ever seen. Even before the tapes of him rehearsing his crying came out.
Problem is, a lot of people DO take his crap seriously.
The thing is, not that many people really do. I'm too lazy to look it up, but even at the absolute height of his popularity, Glenn Becks show was pulling in like three million viewers daily. Reruns of NCIS do twice that audience easily. Fuck, a new episode of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" beat out the RNC's final night in terms of viewership.
The real problem isn't the couple of million people that keep Fox News on the air, it's the 90 million eligible voters who can't muster the energy to get their ass to a polling place a few times a year.
"There are more ferret owners than Fox News viewers"
the only worthwhile thing David Brooks ever said
I don't see too much resemblance between Brooker's style and Yahtzee's. Both have British-y accents and are generally "opinionated angry," but Yahtzee's delivery is more "Monty Python shock jock" as opposed to Brooker's semi-stumbling snarky ranting.
Maybe it's just this clip then.
