It explains a lot why she and the Koch Brothers and Monckton are not only denialists but think they can pay their way over science. All their life, they think money changes reality, and although it sadly does in politics, scienc doesn't work that way. If they cared about science, they'd fund it instead of paying for ads, blogs, buying politicians, and doing speeches.

Money definitely changes reality in science in the short run, insofar as government (military) and corporate grants produce a huge amount of junk science to drown out actual science that might inconveniently conflict with the interests of those behind the money. It seems like science is a robust enough system to more often than not overcome this in the long run, but it's still a huge problem both in terms of misleading the public and in terms of encouraging a kneejerk distrust of science in a lot of younger people who should know better.

Oh, this is the fatty that told poor people a few weeks ago to stop crying and that nobody's stopping them from becoming rich. She conveniently fails to mention that she inherited daddy's business and fortune.

They always do, Scrote.

If you really want to know what God thinks about money, look at the people he gives it to.

From an article about her speech:

"Rinehart gave a speech to the Sydney Mining Club, suggesting Australia would be better off if workers were paid they way they pay miners in Africa: Africans want to work, and its workers are willing to work for less than per day."

Because it's always best to make your country race to the bottom. She also wrote a poem that's on a plaque attached to a boulder somewhere in Australia. I think it proves she's a Vogon:

"Our Future

The globe is sadly groaning with debt, poverty and strife

And billions now are pleading to enjoy a better life

Their hope lies with resources buried deep within the earth

And the enterprise and capital which give each project worth

Is our future threatened with massive debts run up by political hacks

Who dig themselves out by unleashing rampant tax

The end result is sending Australian investment, growth and jobs offshore

This type of direction is harmful to our core

Some envious unthinking people have been conned

To think prosperity is created by waving a magic wand

Through such unfortunate ignorance, too much abuse is hurled

Against miners, workers and related industries who strive to build the world

Develop North Australia, embrace multiculturalism and welcome short term foreign workers to our shores

To benefit from the export of our minerals and ores

The world's poor need our resources: do not leave them to their fate

Our nation needs special economic zones and wiser government, before it is too late "

Such a charming creature. May she never breed.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-09-10

At least she's as ugly on the outside as she is on the inside.

Informative and depressing in equal quantities.
