misterbuns Putting the homo in homicide.
One of Hitch's best.

John Holmes Motherfucker The choreography of the actors and the camera is amazing, especially for the 1940s, when cameras were big and not especially agile. Hitchcock approached the challenge of filming a play very directly, and, I believe, successfully.
I found a documentary on the making of ROPE, taken from the DVD, on youtube.
It's in three parts:

NancyDrewFan123 One of my absolute favorites.

Old_Zircon So good.

sosage Not his strongest, but only because it was so technically ambitious. Was my favorite Hitchcock film until I saw Vertigo.

cognitivedissonance It's watching movies like this on Youtube that prove how fucked up our copyright system is. Everybody in this film is dead. Everybody who was on the set is dead. Every producer and money man is dead. There is no way anybody should be claiming they deserve to be paid for it.
Also they're drinking champagne out of martini glasses, the philistines.
