Binro the Heretic Probably one of the first "grown up" movies I ever watched all the way through as a kid.
It came on the Sunday "matinee" on the UHF station where they usually showed sci-fi or horror movies.
I kept expecting a ghost, but enjoyed the movie even though one never showed up.
cognitivedissonance In the original script, Selznick had planned more evidence of a ghost's presence. The ceramic cupid was to have been spontaneously regenerated, the painting of Rebecca was going to have some gimmicks and when the mansion is set on fire, the big initial "R" was to be spelt out in smoke in the sky.
