could have sworn this was on here...

Jimmy Labatt - 2012-10-01

Really? Damn. Didn't show in the preview section under Breaking Bad tags...

chairsforcheap - 2012-10-01

whatever, 5 for breaking bad, even though i didn't like this scene

Hooker - 2012-10-01

One of the scenes I liked the least, but I suppose Breaking Bad is auto-five.

bac - 2012-10-01

I fucking love car commercials.

Bort - 2012-10-01

Wait, I don't understand. Walter White is there at the beginning of the clip, he sells his car, and then Heisenberg shows up and drives Walt's car to Walt's house. Since when do Walt and Heisenberg know each other? And does Walt know Walt Jr is car-buds with Heisenberg? This show can get so damn confusing.

Aelric - 2012-10-01

The last season was really barely any Walt and almost all Heisenberg. I actually didn't like that so much, making the past season still great but not really as good to me. It's the journey to Heisenberg, not the destination of Heisenberg, I guess.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-10-01

Heisenberg may or may not be anywhere at any given speed or time.

Albuquerque Halsey - 2012-10-01

Bort:

That's the most harebrained idea I ever heard of Kent! Now go out there and get me more pictures of Superman!

Bort - 2012-10-01

Aelric, what's this "journey to Heisenberg" business? Heisenberg is this crazy drug dealer in the show. Even if Heisenberg were somehow a destination, Walt couldn't get there, he's too busy trying to figure out how he's going to pay for his cancer treatments.

EvilHomer - 2012-10-01

Walt made a bunch of money gambling, remember? That's how he's been paying for the treatment all along.

Aelric - 2012-10-01

Hey, I just if it get the show funded.

Cable shows have ALWAYS had blatent ads like this. Remember Sopranos? Remember lines like "The Borat movie is even funnier the second time you watch it!" It's engrained into the fabric of cable dramas being.

godot - 2012-10-01

The "car casting" has been excellent from the start. I can't imagine a better car for Season 1 Walt than a taupe Aztek.

godot - 2012-10-01

Or for that matter, Gustavo's navy Volvo station wagen.

chairsforcheap - 2012-10-01

ok agreed. I guess i did like this scene. Those are rad cars. I like cars. I like meth.

chairsforcheap - 2012-10-01

somehow a taupe aztek is the saddest looking piece of machinery on the planet... I remember Vince Gilligan talking about how they had to special order the paint to make it a positively soul-killing color. They didn't go for the obvious pick of a PT cruiser, which confirms their casting excellence.

chairsforcheap - 2012-10-01

oh wow i didn't watch the clip so i didn't realize they actually did get a pt cruiser

Aelric - 2012-10-02

Cranston said the same thing about the season one mustache, that it had to be positively impotent, not even a real mustache.

dek863 - 2012-10-01

I thought it was absurd enough to be funny. Which was the point.

Spoonybard - 2012-10-01

My least favorite scene of the last season

CornOnTheCabre - 2012-10-02

k

EvilHomer - 2012-10-01

my faverite part was when the cars was all like BWOOOOOOOBWOOOO BWWWWOOOM XD

EvilHomer - 2012-10-01

Oh, and bonus stars for the YT nerds fighting over the concept of symbolism, and whether or not "good writers" can use it.
