Not exactly an endorsement; more of a bitter statement of the obvious.
That's about as close to endorsing something Merle can get. The Okie from Muskogee telling his flock that "Obama did a fine job" must be overwhelming.

He's definitely more of a Willie Nelson than a Toby Kieth. Toby Kieth sucks as much as Nellie McKay.

The difference is that one was celebrated as a great conservative white Southern artist and made to be the background noise of us killing people. It also inspired droves of stupid drooling southerners to come to New York and ask me "Where that 9-11 thang happened at?" while driving their trucks\minivans.

When a President goes through the White House door, and does what he says he'll do, we'll all be drinking that free bubble up, and eatin' that rainbow stew.
wtf japan
Merle Haggard
Imagine Vladimir Putin's life in a world with President Haggard.
They'd settle ownership over the arctic by either fist fighting, or a drinking contest.

He plays a telecaster. What a justification for my 400 dollar purchase. (IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MEXICASTERS U HAVE A PROBLEM W/ ME)

They'll pry my Mexican Telecaster out of the cold dead ashes of America.

I think we just had a moment, Chairs.

That's not an endorsement. That's a country way of being polite and avoiding a question.
