Hey, I'm gonna hijack this video to ask this stupid question: does any one in the San Francisco Bay Area have a couch I could use for about a week?
I'm coming back from Thailand and going to SF area cold, the folks I know there can't put me up and I'd rather now get a motel while I look for an apartment, but being on the other side of the planet, I can't very well interview for rooms. If anyone here could help out, and I know I'm opening myself up to trolling, shoot an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Couch available".
It's a dumbass shot in the dark, but I'm coming in of the 29th and really don't want to screw my savings on motels for a week. Thanks.

Aelric - 2012-10-20 If this site had forums, I'd have put it there. I'm sure I'm violating terms of use, but still, I've sorta known you guys for about 6 years, in that weird internet sort of way, so why not.

Old_Zircon - 2012-10-20 Tried couchsurfing.org? I've never used it myself but everyone seems to like it.

Old_Zircon - 2012-10-20 Wait, does that mean that we're all being gangstalked by people who think we're gangstalking them?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2012-10-21 From one expat to another, good luck man. I have no idea what I'll do after I come back in 2014. I'm also hoping to come back to the Bay Area and it's a vast unknown but at least you have international experience so sell that shit on your resume like there's no tomorrow.
