What, this is a great entry in the Onion Talks, they've hardly jumped the shark with this...

oh.
EvilHomer - 2012-11-03
The other ones, I could believe they were real TED Talks. This one, though, no way.

I like this new longer Onion Talk format, it lets you literally bask as if on toast as douche spread is slowly poured over you. I was surprised at how good the writers are at saying absolutely nothing for so long.

I fully support zapping this guy with massive amounts of gamma radiation.

Stars for "douche mic" should get activated from any of the shamwow clips.

BE BEST HULK POSSIBLY CAN BE!!!
Old_Zircon - 2012-11-04
This is only slightly better than all those PUA videos I posted.
Old_Zircon - 2012-11-04
He looks liek a Star Trek extra in the preview image, too. Not in a good way.

Old_Zircon - 2012-11-04
This is like the college essay the biggest douchebag at my high school wrote, except it's not even that good.

Also the more I watch of this the more indistinguishable it is from a PUA lecture.

You know who this guy reminds me of?

Oh, wait, he IS the author of "The Four Hour Work Week".

The comparisons to the PUA community are pretty accurate. This is exactly the kind of guy that would present at one of those conventions.
chairsforcheap - 2012-11-04
present was a good word to use.

chairsforcheap - 2012-11-04
as good as this was, i couldn't get past the part where he said "tango"
Ursa_minor - 2012-11-04
One of the better Onion TED talks.
OldScratch - 2012-11-04
This talk is actually nicely summarized here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_aM_UiHeFM

I think Bill Hicks told us what this kind of people should do to themselves.

Fuck this guy, he wasn't born premature enough.

I think this is the platonic ideal of the perfect TED talk parody. Maybe a bit too subtle.
