Bill Nye the Riddler really wants me to suck on that government teat.

Doomstein - 2012-11-25

When I worked for the federal government as a "GSA Information Specialist" (pathetic phone jockey punching bag for the general public) at 1(800)FED-INFO I'd get dozens of calls about this guy a day.

Generally there'd be two types of callers:

The first: "How do I get free money without buying the question mark man's book"

The Second: "I bought the book and it didn't tell me shit, who do I complain to?"

I could go on and on about the slobbering ignorance of most of the callers, and what they actually thought they could government grants for, and how they thought Matthew Lesco was somehow a government employee, but I won't.

I will say that I still hold a grudge against this con-man

I used to work at the Washington State Department of Public Disclosure, with essentially the same job. Is this what it's like when doves cry?

Doomstein - 2012-11-25

I know that feel, bro.

FABIO - 2012-11-25

This is what libertarians and randians believe.

badideasinaction - 2012-11-25

Sovereign citizens as well

garcet71283 - 2012-11-25

I know this is what most of the diehard Obamafiles (not mere democrats, but cult-like followers) believe at my work...

FABIO - 2012-11-26

Files on Obama?

BHWW - 2012-11-25

No, they are not just giving it away, you low-rent supervillian looking dork.

Shutup.

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2012-11-25

I once worked on a project with someone who bought one of his books. Turned out to be the single most fiscally irresponsible person I've ever met in my life.

Xenagama Warrior Princess - 2012-11-25

DUTCH ANGLE!

DUTCH ANGLE!

DUTCH ANGLE!

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-11-26

makes it kooky!

Blue - 2012-11-25

This is absolutely true. There are obscure government programs that nobody knows about giving away free money. In lieu of a proper advertising campaign the government delegated that responsibility to an enthusiastic guy in a suit covered in question marks. Seems legit.

Caminante Nocturno - 2012-11-25

No, you see, the government doesn't want you to know about it. They formed and funded all of these government programs, and then went out of their way to keep the public from using them.

Blue - 2012-11-25

Also, was he really on any of those TV shows? I can't imagine him being on Oprah or Letterman.

hentaiwolf - 2012-11-25

His commercials ran during Oprah and Letterman.

cognitivedissonance - 2012-11-25

Immoral to plagiarize from countless government pamphlets and mislead millions of Americans, all of whom combine equal degrees delusion, ignorance and greed?

Well, no.

memedumpster - 2012-11-25

Meanwhile in 1997...
"How are the book sales going today, Matt?"
"Damnedest thing, Rupert Murdoch bought 300 copies as did all the major bank and hedge fund managers."
"Huh."

boner - 2012-11-25

At least he's better than the "Cures for cancer that everybody is keeping secret, except me" guy.

FreeOJ - 2012-11-26

are you talking about Kevin Trudeau?

Quad9Damage - 2012-11-25

And now, with a federal deficit in the trillions and daily posts on my Facebook feed about how welfare recipients will use taxpayer dollars to buy weed (in a state where marijuana isn't even fucking legal) ...have at it.

Spaceman Africa - 2012-11-25

Wow this guy actually exists outside of Neil Cicierega videos

Rudy - 2012-11-27

"I get stuff for free and I sell it for as much as I can get." - Matthew Lesko
