First 10 seconds... EVIL IS IN OUR HEARTS NOT IN OUR GUNS.

The same old shit over and over and over and over...

Oscar Wildcat - 2012-12-19

Then presumably he is arguing that we should be regulating his heart, not his guns. Perhaps we should.

Old_Zircon - 2012-12-19

As soon as someone goes and invokes the concepts of good and evil as if they are real in some objective, material sense, you might as well give up on trying to reason with them and save yourself a lot of wasted time.

So, their ideal vision for America is everyone walking around with a lethal weapon on their person and being in constant fear of having to use it?

Cena_mark - 2012-12-19

The NRA is a very strange religion.

Xenocide - 2012-12-19

True. But this guy if from Gun Owners of America, an organization that criticizes the NRA for not going far enough.

They're like the crazy cult that breaks off from the major religions, and holes itself up in a compound in New Mexico (made of guns.)

dairyqueenlatifah - 2012-12-19

GOA is full of people that are nuttier than the nuttiest NRA members could ever hope to be, or rather, they're made up of the NRA nuts that proved to be too nuts for even the NRA to entertain them.

They believe there should be absolutely no laws restricting any use of firearms, that anyone should be able to purchase a gun and carry it wherever they wish. They hate every president and presidential candidate since their founding for being "too compromising" when it comes to the second amendment, except one; Ron Paul. And boy, do they have a raging hard on for Ron Paul.

No, actually we do have problems with kids shooting themselves with guns. It happens all the time.

kamlem - 2012-12-19

"Homicides by firearm plunged 59 percent between 1995 and 2006, with no corresponding increase in non-firearm-related homicides. The drop in suicides by gun was even steeper: 65 percent. Studies found a close correlation between the sharp declines and the gun buybacks. Robberies involving a firearm also dropped significantly. Meanwhile, home invasions did not increase, contrary to fears that firearm ownership is needed to deter such crimes. But heres the most stunning statistic. In the decade before the Port Arthur massacre, there had been 11 mass shootings in the country. There hasnt been a single one in Australia since."

this is America, a magical place where the rules of reality do not apply

Maru - 2012-12-19

@2:00 Does this dumbbell seriously compare the murder rate of Fairfax county to MOTHERFUCKING England?

"Fairfax was the first county in the United States to reach a six-figure median household income, and has the second-highest median household income of any local jurisdiction in the United States after neighbor Loudoun County."

Yeah... Sixty million rich, poor, and middle class vs. one million of the richest, most privileged, twats in America.
