Also, Bono has apologized for this, and admits that it's garbage. He says he was in a really bad place when he recorded it. Fair enough.

Was gonna gripe how the song's no good if you don't follow the directions handily contained within the song ("the fourth, the fifth, the minor fall, the major lift"), but I'm pretty sure Bono knows that and there's no point in my being a little bitch about it.
