Mr. Purple Cat Esq.
Is that produced by howie b?
(the production/beats end of it is nice imo, just a really bad overall idea)

I actually think its not *that* bad per se.. It just has that incredible pretentiousness (that makes you want to immediately run away and stick your head in a bucket of water) that most things bono touches has

It is *that* bad.

I heard a really bad jam band cover of this at a coffee shop a couple months ago. I thought it was the worst version of Halleluja but this buries it.
Jet Bin Fever
Oh man, it's pretty terrible, but I can't really say worst, because I know there is something a lot worse out there if I cared to look. That said, wow, terrible.
This song just needs to rest for a while. I'm even sick of the "good" versions.
Wow that was actually worse than expected.
Beatnik Bono bongos.
Is it possible to petition the United States for a global moratorium on usage of this song in any context?

There are many words for this. "Hallelujah" is not one of them.
It fits perfectly once the song is over.

Take that, Shatner!
I always thought this song sucked, but Jesus...
I would pay good money to hear Napoleon XIV's version.

Also, Bono has apologized for this, and admits that it's garbage. He says he was in a really bad place when he recorded it. Fair enough.

Was gonna gripe how the song's no good if you don't follow the directions handily contained within the song ("the fourth, the fifth, the minor fall, the major lift"), but I'm pretty sure Bono knows that and there's no point in my being a little bitch about it.
