They all just grow up too fast, don't they?

This is exactly the kinds of stuff I had to endure during filmy school.
Hey baleen, been meaning to ask you. One time ages ago you mentioned you were doing something that involved "hybrid value chains", but I can't find a simple explanation of what those are. Does it go something like this?
Let's say I see a problem in my community, such as a shortage of chemically-pure crystal meth. I realize that, if I had access to the right chemicals plus RVs plus delivery Azteks, I could see to it that crystal meth made it to the consumers that desperately needed it. So I would contact the chemical storehouses as well as the vehicle manufacturers, and tell them that, if they can cut me some sort of deal, I can see to it that they still profit, and once the concept proves itself in one town, I'll be able to take it to multiple towns. So they make their money on volume sales to a well-targeted consumer base as well as advertising and good public image.
Am I in the right ballpark?
Yes, I quit that organization when I found out they had hired a criminal accountant without even doing a background check. Excessively idealistic, nice people make horrible managers.
Anyway, yeah that's about right. Bill Drayton is the guy who invented the concept. He's been doing it all over the world with his NPO, Ashoka Foundation.
The world needs good meth dripping from the bottom, Bort, not raining down from the top.

I enjoyed that. Very much.

The "Stay out of my territory" pushed this to 5 stars. He really nailed that.

5 for the incredibly unsafe bike trick at the end.
