Me too. The thing you notice when you're older about this film, is how much incredible downtime there is in it when nothing is going on but adults talking. Still, it's an enjoyable film from those "simpler" Disney times when they made a lot of mediocre, awkward stuff (Condorman, anyone?) but it still had a certain charm to it compared to their grossly overbudgeted, cynicial, toy commercial shit they make now.
Yikes. Okay thanks for the Christmas present PoeTV. I'll be sure snuggle up with my favorite quilt with a gin and chocolate and get shitfaced watching this atrocity.
This and Bunnicula are burnt into 3rd grade culture in the early 80's... Of course, in MY family we read C.S. Lewis and A Wrinkle in Time, but I remember all the kids were crazy about this book.
