badideasinaction - 2013-01-07 I was on an airport shuttle and when one kid on there found out I was going to the same con as him he spent about half an hour trying to give me a minute-by-minute description of Battletoads. I keep forgetting people like that are real, and I feel so badly for the kid's dad who was just giving the "oh god not this shit again" look as the kid would not be dissuaded from his dissertation.
I enjoy some parts of fandom, but I'm starting to really have second thoughts about it given what it does to some people.
