Awful movie, good soundtrack. And I always loved catching it on USA just for the overdub of every utterance of "Jesus Christ" becoming "Judas Priest!"

Great soundtrack. Sadly I think it really spawned a lot of awful music, but you can't really fault it for that.

I've never seen this movie, but I remember being exasperated when I worked at Blockbuster Video that the VHS case on our shelf showed the last part of the tagline (recited by Leary in this trailer) as "Don't even breath."

Five for the soundtrack being the only time I ever liked Teenage Fanclub. Teaming them up with De La Soul was pretty awesome.

I really like the song "Everything Flows". In case you haven't heard it, give it a shot:

Dinoasur Jr. & Del The Funky Homosapien
Pearl Jam & Cypress Hill
Faith No More & Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E.
Teenage Fanclub & De La Soul
Sonic Youth & Cypress Hill

That soundtrack kicked all sorts of backside. I barely remember the movie at all.

There was a movie?

Wasn't there another movie with this exact same plot that featured a multiracial high school football team that gets lost in the ghetto on their bus?
