Hopefully this footage gets used to get this guy off the bench, wherever this is. Sometimes people do legitimately dick things to judges and they teach them a little lesson, but you don't up someone's bail by a magnitude of 2 or 3 just because you're having a bad day and hate "them kids on your lawn" or whatever. The girl's an idiot, but being a judge is not a license to take your BS on people cuz your dick is small.
Compare and contrast with the now infamous video of the female judge who just ignores the dickhead threatening to kill her, does her job, keeps things moving, despite the fact he committed a Federal crime right there in court.

Jane Error - 2013-02-08 Nope, he reacted entirely appropriately. I counted three times he gave her a chance to change her behaviour before he came down. If he wanted to be a dick, he thrown the book at her when she wouldn't answer how much her jewellery was worth for the purposes of setting bail (note: that's when the Bailiff warns her to have more respect for the court).
It's especially appropriate given that this is a young offender with no prior record, and someone who doesn't seem to understand how much trouble she is in. It's in her best interests to have the fear of God put in her before her she finds herself in court facing much more serious charges in the future.
