From the game's Wikipedia entry:

"Having been considered to be one of the worst games of all time, Plumbers Don't Wear Ties received negative attention mainly due to much of the game being presented as a slide show despite being advertised as a full motion video game (only its introduction was a FMV). Other criticisms focused on its "surreal" and "sexist" storyline [5] and poor voice acting. It has been also cited as one of the primary reasons for the commercial failure of the 3DO game system."

Ouch.

Not to mention its nudity warning looks straight off of something from Newgrounds.

Newgrounds is like a parallel universe where the 3do was a huge success that revolutionized gaming.

This guy is the only good thing to come out of newgrounds: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/280969

Please share if you know anything about him.

There are so many "Plumbers" clips on here to count, I assumed this was already up.

This was about as low as they could go during that whole "FMV game craze" period, when people were convinced that Z-grade movie sets and community theater rejects were the future of gaming.

This is the FMV counterpart to back in gradeschool in the 80s when they'd cancel a class for and you'd be all happy to get to watch some crappy 16mm educational film. Until the A/V guy came out with that little filmstrip projector and a cassette player.
