Apart from the JD Salinger joke, I actually didn't like this bit much because it kind of ruined the joke of the series that you never knew exactly WHAT the Titte Bros. were.

Even without the satirical context it's funny to me. If I saw some guy doing this on the street it would probably be just as good (except for the fact that he'd most likely be a fedora).
