This sketch fucking destroyed me when I was a young'n. Still holds up nicely.

I read an interview somewhere with either Mike Nelson or Paul Chaplin and they talked about how apparently the "Coily" short film was actually riffed way back in the Joel-era, but they ended up never using it for some reason, and then came back to it years later for this season. Apparently, there are little references to the short here and there in the early seasons of MST if you notice because they had watched it, but never actually done the filmed riff of it.

I've advanced it to the important part.

Yet again proves the genius that was this show.

The existential quandary of Mike's bed often keeps me up at night, but at least I know the bed I can't sleep on exists.

"No *insert noun here*" has long been a part of my daily life because of this.

chumbucket - 2013-03-05

Fun fact: the lead in this film also has gone on to produce 30 Rock and directed the latest Jim Carrey film. He was also my uncle for a while.

Bort - 2013-03-05

Oh wow, did you call him Uncle Wormface? I would not have been able to help myself.

The sprites float in an endless, formless void for all eternity, awaiting the one glorious day when someone wishes that their particular object would cease to exist.

Of course, once the wish gets inevitably undone, it's back to limbo for another 500 trillion years or so.
