I used to have my own copy of Class of Nukem High. Bought it at Woolworth's the day I got my first VCR, and I had no idea what I had found.

What I remember most about the movie now was the prim and proper Chrissy smoking the radioactive weed, taking her top off, and delivering the best line in the movie: "WARREN, FUCK THE FELLINI FESTIVAL!"

I think those were best tits I've ever seen in a movie, back before the internet when seeing tits in a movie was still a big deal. No, really. And the rest of her matched the tits.

Thanks to Google, I now know that the actress was named Janelle Brady. She was really super cute, but she only did three movies.

Kaufman swears he knew nothing about it. By his account he didn't get off the stage simply because he was scared of what the batshit crazy audience would do to him. Claims they dislocated his shoulder and that it still hurts to this day.

His account of why the audience scared him: "Here I was this little jew in my little jew suit."

The "whose fault is this" part had probably been a stock segment for when they wanted to cut out early from a segment going South quickly - I'm sure over the years they had a few of those. The wrestling of the guy off the stage might have just been an unexpected bonus.

Both Morton Downey, Jr. and Troma are worth a Google. The important thing to understand is that Troma is awesome, Downey sucked ass. He once beat himself up and said that Nazis did it.

Lloyd Kaufman is the brains behind the Troma film company. They made a ton of really awesome Z-budget scifi and horror-comedy films during the 80s and 90s. Think GWAR meets Toho.

Morton Downey Jr was basically the artistic forerunner of Jerry Springer, Howard Sterns, and Rushbo.

I honestly think Troma has done its best work in the last 15 years.

In order of quality:

1. Terror Firmer
2. Toxic Avenger 4
3. Poultrygeist (available on Netflix instant!)

I was never big on Terror Firmer--too clever and "meta" for my taste. Sgt. Kabukiman, N.Y.P.D. and Combat Shock are the best things they ever did, IMO.
