I've never really noticed this, but I'm finding it really irritating in the new Tomb Raider game. Do people not have a theory of mind when it comes to the people on the other end of the line in a work of fiction?

Maybe it was just more noticable because her radio etiquette was just so much worse and seriously endangered her friend.

Man, that game would have been really good if she'd put on a fucking coat or jacket at the end. It was like if there had been a scene close to the end of Die Hard where Bruce Willy has to walk over a large amount of glass barefoot and he doesn't cut himself this time for no apparent reason.

Some of these clearly had an implied "goodbye" in the way they ended, and some of them were never meant to end that way to begin with.

Someone spliced all of these scenes together for nothing.
