Could be that the book is clearly pointless once you have a chance to look at it, so their only hope for selling it is to sell it over the Internet.

My parents received this as a gift from my kooky right-wing aunt. Not as a gift, mind you, but as 'good advice.' My dad describes this book as, and I quote, "The same kind of self-serving ballyhoo that con men will always foist on the gullible, the fact that it is backed up by a political party makes no difference."

I love my dad.

Chalk it up as another problem we'll only have a chance of solving once the boomers start dying off and are replaced with indebted generations who didn't grow up with the benefits of 90% top margin income tax, strong manufacturing base, healthy labor unions, and an ineffective Republican minority.

What we need is a good old fashioned plague to shake things up again!

But in the meantime they keep sending the country to war to keep our numbers down.

Sometimes I just think war is regulated population control for both parties involved. Maybe too many of the crazies who enlist are surviving.

War doesn't kill enough. If for every poor brown Muslim that died, ten rich Americans died too, I'd sponsor a drone program with the gub'ment. We'd live in a time when every Muslim martyr truly did make the world a better place.

These days wars are about getting re-elected, getting money to/from the industries that cash in on war, and getting private companies (part of those aforementioned industries) access to natural resources at criminally low prices (for them) at the expense of the lives/quality of life of both the invading nation and the targeted one.

About the only ones who are all about mass genocide are religious nuts. Everyone else just wants slave labor, cheap materials, and taxpayer cash (or as they call it, "profit").
