America does have its own Taliban. Just look at Kansas which just passed laws allowing creationism in science class. "That's not like the Islamofacists!" It's indoctrination. It doesn't happen overnight, but eventually you wind up with radicalized ignorant assholes with nothing to do apart from help the other radicalized nutballs so the religious can get more concessions from the government in exchange for keeping the damage to a minimum.

And if every act of Iran, Pakistan, Syria, etc. is "Muslim terrorism," what does that make all the wars of the U.S.? Every leader we've had has been Christian, so if one wants to extend the logic, it shouldn't take that many brain cells.
