I can literally hear this guy's acid reflux.
ANTICOMEDY: Ideas composed of elementary jokes having the intent and humor of ordinary comedy but for which the funniness and related properties are opposite in sign. Internet memes, racism, and puns, collectively called antijokes, are the antithesis of wittiness, satire, and devastating riposte, respectively. When comedy and anticomedy are in close proximity, annihilation occurs within a fraction of a second, releasing large amounts of sadness.
No different than nerds misquoting the dead Parrot sketch 100 times a day as if reminding people that something funny happened once is just as funny. The Internet just made it much harder to avoid, like everything else.
Not defending it - listening that kind of crap had all but ruined Monty Python for me by the time I was out of high school (I got better).
Yeah, the part about trying to contact various websites is well worth a watch.
Good ol' PirateBay. They're the internet's equivalent of the big name baseball player that takes time out of his day to sign autographs for retarded kids.
The really sad thing is that he already made the images, so if he had any real drive he would throw this garbage together in Flash over a weekend and have a sad game no will play uploaded to Newgrounds.
But that might invite rejection and criticism, so better to try and soak moronic redditors and pretend this is a worthwhile project.
I mean, he is clearly wearing his only nice shirt, sitting in the unfurnished cubicle of whatever call center/data entry hell he works for during the week. And this pitch is his ticket out.
I was going to say that I love he put a tie on because of this project.
I cast Roachbud and power him up with BOUNCER.
If he had shown and explained a Goatse card I'd donate a dollar.
Ha ha, I know where these cards will end up.
Yeah! In a dumpster of some sort! Maybe one for... OH MY GOD! (Cue BWOMP noise from Inception)
As a person who loves card and board games, this doesn't look like fun at all. "Funny" games rarely stay funny past the second play, if they last that long.
And it doesn't look like a CCG either. It looks like a Card game, maybe a Living Card Game where expansions are released on a regular basis that expand the original game, but it doesn't even seem to have that really.
This is one of the saddest Kickstarter videos I've seen, it really looks like they've kind of lost hope in getting funding, even before the campaign began.
