Best Buy has a pretty lame mascot.

For some reason I heard "Space Niggers Incorporated to the Rescue!"
Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-05-18
I'm pretty sure they actually did say that.

The question is, AM I as important as my mascot?

It's like having a child, a hot, smelly child whose hollowed out skin and head you put on and walk about in.

Go go EIT, love you guys!

'It's like having a child', I could see the wife of a Furry saying that when the Fur likes to get dressed up as his animal.

Doggiewoggiez! Poochiewoochiez! forever.

I'm just about to start thinking that you're here for good.

Meerkat - 2013-05-18
Stay here forever Booms.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-05-18
please please stay here forever

Boomer The Dog - 2013-05-18
I'll try to stay, but forever, that's a mighty long time, I can never settle down.

The first Dog mascot I liked was Crime Dog, I wanted to hug him, which was a strange thought for me at the time. I was also really into Barkley from Sesame street, I liked the end of the show while the credits rolled and he ran around the park, that was the best, and they showed that ending for a long time. I'd never seen a 4 leg mascot costume before

No really, look up Doggiewoggiez! Poochiewoochiez! it's EIT's stage show from last year. It's where I found out about those guys for real! Here's my video when I went and became an instant fan, the perfect show for me.

It was the first show I saw them at. They built the Dog costumes in the video.

Well, maybe just forever in dog years. That's less time than in human years, right?

Stars are for you.

EvilHomer - 2013-05-18
Also, you should submit some of your videos here, or any other neat dog-related videos you've found on the internet!

Hi EvilHomer, Thanks for the stars. I'd make it in Dog years since 'PoE red' was taken down, so hopefully this side is healthier and will last for a while yet.

It would be cool to put some videos up, but you guys find so many of them for me already, like the Orangina series and EIT videos. I need to make more of my own, but I've been filmed by a few others, like the documentary Fursonas, on Facebook.

I do like mascots a whole lot, and Calbee from the potato chip ads out of Japan is probably my favorite fursuit character right now.

I'll be around when I can to go 'woof!'

Practice extreme animism and treat your mascot like a beloved family member.

That Oscar Wilde quote is sovereign truth. You want to know what someone is really like, give them a hand puppet.
dairyqueenlatifah - 2013-05-17
For an unfortunate few, it IS having a child.
Rodents of Unusual Size - 2013-05-18
They forgot to say the most important cardinal rule of being a mascot, involving the process by which you adopt your mascot suit, take it home, make sweet love to it, promise that you will always keep it, and then dump it for the next clean dancing kangaroo mascot suit that happens to come your way.

So many abandoned, stained mascot suits they could make their own island.

I remember that green dinosaur mascot being the "brush your teeth" PDA mascot for dental hygiene in the 90s.
