I've seen Dead Man a thousand times, and it still feels like a new film. Brilliance.

I never understood why Ebert panned the score.
I left the theater, walked around the corner, bought the sdtk, went home, learned how to play it.

Now he's a Navajo mud toy. More beauty in words and vision than film can hold it would seem.
This soundtrack is one of the best things Neil Young ever did. It changed the way I approach music AND made me actually start to pay attention to Neil Young and realize he did a lot of stuff that's much more interesting than Harvest. The movie's good, but (much like Akira), the soundtrack absolutely makes it.
