This film is great. Aussie horror almost always is though.

I have this on my hard drive as a safety valve at work.

I was reluctant to watch this, long ago because I doubted the viability of a pig-centric horror film. Well I was wrong to have doubted.

I saw this movie in a motel when I was a little kid.

Come to think of it, I saw The Hitcher in a motel when I was a kid, too.

Same with Road Games.

I never noticed that until now.

This was one of the movies I saw countless times on USA Network's "Saturday Nightmares" double features growing up. Loved it then, love it now.

The guy who directed this also directed just about every God-damned music made in the 1980s as well as the movie "Highlander". (He also directed "Highlander II: The Quickening" but let's just ignore that, shall we?)

Also, the guy looking for his dead wife played Logan on the 1970s "Logan's Run" TV series and Gonzo on "Trapper John, M.D."
