I'm a lifelong Anthony Hopkins fan, but Mikkelsen's Hannibal runs circles around him, and perhaps more impressively, Will Graham is just as interesting a protagonist as the Wendigo therapist. Mark my words, it'll get Emmy nods the next two years but won't win any on account of Breaking Bad and Mad Men winding down. But if Bryan Fuller gets to execute his insanely ambitious seven-season story arc, we could be on the cusp of greatness.
