I would have lived the rest of my life without ever remembering how upset that made me as a child, if it weren't for PoeTV.
Last night Sesame Street made a kitten fly.

This wasn't an adventure for their own sick amusement. This kitten was a pussy (pun intended) and they were going to make a goddamn man out of him.

He wouldn't scratch anyone, no matter much you would prod or poke him. He wouldn't bite anyone. He just sat there and took the blows the same way a three year old would.

After tying slipknots to his whiskers, tail, and body, they tied those to a kite. Instead of making him sail around the room, though, they opened the window.

The result was this kitten being able to fly into the sky. This must have awoken the man inside him, because they can't touch him anymore without him scratching or biting them.
For me, it was that song Ernie sang about living on the moon. It still chokes me up.
