The mel smith tag is not active? Apostasy!

I love this movie. It truly has something for everyone: silly slapstick for the kids, clever dialog for the adults, swashbuckling for the guys, romance for the ladies, & Andre the Giant for everybody! The only strike against it is Billy Crystal, but his scene is mercifully short.

Yeah. I hate the holier than thou assholes that don't like this movie just because everyone does. Its got an amazing script, pacing, acting, direction, and even KISSING for the girls.

and fuck you, I like the Billy Crystal scene. Sure he's playing a Jewish stereotype that rivals Judd Hirsch in Independence Day in its heavy handedness, but its fun and advances the plot well.

I should clarify that the Billy Crystal scene isn't bad, per se, it's just if I had to pick a least favorite scene, it'd be his.

For the record, my favorite scene is when Andre the Giant says "Hello, Lady!".
