This was the only good Mars movie during that whole Mars movie kick. I've always been mad that this one wasn't the one I saw in the theater.

There was this, Mission to Mars, and... what? A year after those, Ghosts of Mars came out, though that was more of an excuse for John Carpenter to have saw-blade guns.

...and like the poster, I also liked the look of this movie. It's the only thing I remember from this one.

I was with this movie until the whole nematodes thing which basically held science down and murdered it with a power drill.
But I will concede it's a better movie than Mission to Mars.
