I couldn't find a good article about the utter train wreck that was this film's production. The Wikipedia article doesn't really do it justice but here it is anyway:

Sorry, but I can't find any love for this. I think it's got that hideous, generic 80s anime look. I like the finish film's look much better.

Still, five stars for interesting. I've always found Little Nemo's production fascinating, the amount of talent and money behind it, and the utter commercial failure it turned out to be.

A shame really. It's an under-appreciated gem.
